When it comes to waftability, the Mercedes-Benz S-Class has been leading the pack for over 30 years, but it turns out that it's hiding a wicked side.
It's unclear why someone thought putting what sound like straight pipes on a W220 S600, but the result is stunning.
With the 5.5-litre twin-turbo V12 breathing deep, it emits a baleful howl that wouldn't have been out of place on an early-1990s F1 grid.
Remember, this isn't AMG's 6.0-litre twin-turbo V12 that powers the '65' AMG models, just Merc's own V12, designed to offer silky smooth refinement rather than window-shattering engine noise.
