1967 Ford Mustang: Gone in 60 Seconds' "Eleanor" for sale

The mechanical star of the 2000 feature film Gone in 60 Seconds, 'Eleanor', a heavily modified 1967 Ford Mustang Fastback is being offered for sale at the Mecum Spring Classic Auction, in Indianapolis, Indiana (May 14-19).

The mechanical star of the 2000 feature filmGone in 60 Seconds, 'Eleanor', a heavily modified 1967 Ford Mustang Fastback is being offered for sale at the Mecum Spring Classic Auction, in Indianapolis, Indiana (May 14-19).

Much copied since the movie's release, the original 'hero' car was built with the help of US custom car legend Chip Foose, and is powered by a 300kW, 5.7-litre (351ci) V8 engine.
