MOTOR understands that FCA Australia has indicated an intended pricing range to dealers for the Jeep Grand Cherokee Trackhawk, and for the limited-run Launch Editions of the fastest Jeep produced.

According to sources, the intended price for the standard Trackhawk is near the $140,000 mark, though FCA can't yet confirm an exact figure.

In addition, dealers are contacting interested customers with estimated pricing details for the Trackhawk Launch Edition, of which it's believed 62 will be made available.

MOTOR believes the Launch Edition will be available for around $160K, though FCA can not confirm that figure yet.

MOTOR sought this information after Melbourne SRT Club member ‎Rob McCulloch announced that his dealer had contacted him with pricing of $154,000 plus on-road costs for a Trackhawk Launch Edition, which he says he’s secured.

The version that will be arriving here in Australia will be closer to the Euro-spec rather than the US-spec Trackhawk.

In the United States for a Trackhawk press event, FCA Australia head of PR & communications Lucy McLellan said: “Pricing and the entire list of equipment for Australia will be announced closer to the Trackhawk’s arrival in December.”
